 Cafe il Ferno

2012. Giclee print. Martin Wollerstam.

Part 3 of 3 of the Kafé Inferno collection.

A three part series of cafes, inspired by Dante's Inferno. Originally part of a Swedish artists' group show back in 2012 in London, UK, called Fika*

This one is representing the lower planes of hell, being the last one of the three, it's following limbo in the middle and the land of the living on top.

* "Fika is a concept, a state of mind, an attitude and an important part of Swedish culture. Many Swedes consider that it is almost essential to make time for fika every day. It means making time for friends and colleagues to share a cup of coffee (or tea) and a little something to eat." ― Swedishfoods.com
